Mara Hoffman Bikini Nails!

It's been so hot! But summer is my favorite, so I don't mind. It just means more pool time! Every summer I like to do a mani to match one of my bathing suits. You can check out last years here and the year before that here.

This year I have another Mara Hoffman pattern. All her patterns are amazing, but I had to have this particular bikini because it reminds me of the "Sea of Holes" from The Beatles movie "Yellow Submarine," which is a favorite of mine. Except this would be the rainbow "Sea of Holes," so, even better!

Fourth of July Nails

Hi there! Long time no see. I'm a bit late, but I was off from work last week for the 4th of July holiday, and I jam packed that week full of activities, so I didn't have time to post here. I did post to Instagram though!

I went up to Maine for the holiday weekend, and spent the rest of my week on a whale watch, at a water park, by the pool with family, and pub crawling :)

But I did make time to actually do my nails! I always love doing my nails for the 4th of July, I love the red, white & blue combo, and it only feels right to do them around the holiday. I actually did 2 mani's this year, one for the 4th, and one for the following weekend when I did a patriotic pub crawl. I'm only going to show you one today, as well as a cute little mani I did for a friend for the holiday as well.

Mine are similar to the ones I did last year. Did it totally freehand too!

I used:
  • OPI: Alpine Snow
  • OPI: Vodka & Caviar
  • OPI: Eurso Euro
  • Seche Vite: Dry Fast Top Coat

Did this patriotic mani for a friend!

Gray Malin Inspired Beach Nails

Happy Summer!! I have super summer appropriate nails to show you today! I've been waiting so long for summer to finally take a stab at these nails, and I'm in love.

Have you heard of Gray Malin? He's a photographer that I've been a bit obsessed with for a while now. My favorite photos of his are these amazing colorful aerial beach shots of beaches all over the world. I hope one day I can afford a huge print of his work because I just love them. Just looking at them made winter suck a little bit less this year. Hahaha.

I chose the print "Coogee Beach Horizontal" (Australia) as inspiration for this mani! How much do you want to go to that beach??

Beyoncé Nails!

Heeelllloooo! How was everyone's weekend? Mine absolutely slayed. I went to see Beyoncé on Friday night AND went to a Beyoncé themed brunch on Sunday! It was a Bey filled weekend and I loved every minute of it. The concert was flawless of course, we tailgated, wore Bey shirts that we ordered from Etsy, (I got this one) and danced the night away.

At our Sunday Bey Brunch, we ate Bey themed food, they had lemonade, played music videos, gave us pictures of Bey, had champagne and took pictures with cardboard cutouts of the Queen. It was awesome. Our appetizer was called "Becky With The Good Hair," and it was fried cauliflower with a picture of a Barbie head on a stick with x's over the eyes and it said "R.I.P Becky." We were cracking up because my BFF's name happens to be Becky, so they gave her a Becky shirt! HA!

Anyways, enough of my royal weekend, here are my Beyoncé nails! Can you figure out what each finger means?
