Tribal Print Nails!

31 Day Challenge: Tribal Print Nails

So like I said in my last post, I was terrified for this challenge! Probably the only one I really wasn't looking forward to and feared I wouldn't be able to do. But I tried it, and I'm pretty proud of myself! I have never been a fan of the whole tribal print thing that's been going on, but I'm actually kind of liking my nails. It might just be because I think I did a decent job and not because they're tribal print, but that's fine.

I was also excited because I got to use 3 of the new polishes I bought the other day as well as one I bought a little while ago and hadn't used yet!

I started off with a base coat of course, then 2 coats of OPI "Don't Pretzel My Buttons," which I think is my new favorite nude. Then I added a colored stripe to every nail and outlined them with my black Art Club striping polish. Then I used the same black striper for the horizontal lines and made the zigzags with my smallest dotting tool. Next I made a few white stripes with my Art Club polish, added all the colored dots, placed the little dot studs on my ring finger and top coated! Fairly simple! Hahaha.

Also, that blue Essie, "Butler Please." Oh my god. I don't usually like that type of blue but I am so drawn to that one. Love it.

I used:
  • OPI: Don't Pretzel My Buttons
  • OPI: Need Sunglasses?
  • OPI: Black Onyx
  • OPI: Top Coat
  • Essie: Butler Please
  • Essie: Where's My Chauffeur?
  • Essie: Honey Bun
  • Essie: Don't Sweater It
  • Art Club: Black Striper
  • Art Club: White Striper
  • Born Pretty Black Stud Rhinestones
  • Seche Vite: Top Coat
That was my first mani using Seche Vite top coat...I'M IN LOVE. IT IS PERFECT. That is all.
