Monet Nails

31 Day Challenge: Inspired By Artwork

I am so, so, so, so, so excited to post these nails! This was one of those ones that I was kind of nervous about and couldn't make a decision on what to do. There is so much art that I love, but I didn't want to spend hours on this mani. I had wanted to try some Keith Haring nails because I've seen some and think they are fantastic. However I don't think I would have been able to do them as well as I would like to. So I decided on Monet/Impressionist nails! I love them! And they were pretty simple!

Incase you don't know what a Monet looks like....though I hope you do.

On to my nails! I basically dipped a brush in remover and different colors to thin out the polish and get a watercolor sort of look.

Sorry if I don't post for a while, I have no plans on removing these any time soon! Hahaha.

I used:
  • OPI: My Boyfriend Scales Walls
  • OPI: Gargantuan Green Grape
  • OPI: Don't Talk Bach To Me
  • OPI: Did It On 'Em
  • OPI: Green-wich Village
  • OPI: Fly
  • OPI: Pink Friday
  • OPI: Dim Sum Plum
  • Essie: Turquoise & Caicos
  • Essie: Where's My Chauffeur?
  • Essie: Butler Please
  • Essie: Coat Azure
  • Essie: I Am Strong
  • Seche Vite: Dry Fast Top Coat

  5. I'm really enjoying the theme/design of your website. Do you ever run into any internet browser compatibility problems? A handful of my blog readers have complained about my site not working correctly in Explorer but looks great in Firefox. Do you have any recommendations to help fix this problem?
