Splatter Paint Nails!

HII GUYS! I'm so excited about this mani! I LOVED LOVED LOVED THEM. Though I don't think I will ever do them again. Hahaha. Splatter paint nails are crazy messy. Though if I wasn't in a slight hurry I could have taped them or something at least, but I didn't feel like it/was too excited to start them.

I used the straw method (dipping a straw in polish and blowing) and my boyfriend helped me. He told me he wanted to do my nails which would be funny, but I needed them done for the cookout we were having the next day. So I told him he actually could help with these! We both did a few colors and I think they came out awesome! Definitely worth the hour clean-up, but yea, I probably won't do them again any time soon.

Oh also, I took a few photos of my right hand. I think some of the nails on that hand came out better so I wanted to show them. What do you think?

I used:
  • Zoya: Purity
  • OPI: Suzi's Hungary Again!
  • Essie: In The Cab-Ana
  • Essie: Playdate
  • Illamasqua: Rare
  • Sally Hansen: Sun Kissed
  • Seche Vite: Dry Fast Top Coat

As a bonus, here is the paper I had my hands over, hahaha.

    1. Thanks so much! Yea he was like "Wow, this is fun! Now I see why you do this all the time..." Like I always paint my nails with straws, hahaha.

  2. Love them. I need to do these again sometime. I found the trick is to use Vaseline around your nails--i.e. apply before you start and then wipe clean after your top coat. Seriously, make clean up a breeze.

  3. These are amazing. Will probably give these a go on an accent nail or two to lessen the effort and mess.
