Easter Egg Nails!

Happy Almost Easter guys! I love this holiday, it's Spring and there's family and chocolate involved. And I just love Easter colors. So obviously it's time for my real Easter mani and the debut of my right hand...I did all of my nails 3 colors with chevrons and couldn't decide if I should add dots. Tried them on my right hand and still can't decide how I feel about them. I didn't want to ruin my left hand so I left it plain, totally rocking two different mani's tomorrow. Whateveerrrr! Check em out, which do you prefer?

1st Easter-esque Mani

Helllooooo, these nails are so fun! I wasn't deliberately going for Easter nails yet because I plan on doing those tomorrow or Saturday so I have it for Easter, but these are bright and fun and could pass I think. If you somehow did a million colored stripes on one egg...I wanted to try a fan brush mani because I've never used my fan brush and they look pretty simple. I basically just did a ton of swipes across my nails with different colors in rainbow order. I kind of swiped from one side to the middle, and then did the same with a different color in the opposite direction. I'm a little bummed with my last color swipe, it got a little thick, especially on my ring finger, but I think it looks great on my pinkie. Even some on my right hand look better, but I can barely hold my camera with my left hand, never mine actually focus and take a decent picture with it, haha.

What do you think?

Liebster Award Round 2

I was nominated for another Liebster Award by Kelly at cheap skate. Since I've already done one, you can see the post here, I'm just going to answer her questions! Thanks Kelly!

1) What is your daily routine?

Well during the week, I wake up at 7:15, go pee, brush my teeth, put in my contacts, wash my face, put on a little make-up, get dressed, put on my jewelry, brush my hair, then go downstairs! I also have to wake my 9 year old nephew up if he's still asleep. Then I eat breakfast while watching "Good Morning America," hahaha. I leave for work around 8, get there around 8:30. Eat lunch at noon, blah blah blah, work work work. Leave at 5, go home, figure out dinner, make my lunch for the next day, then do whatever. Sometimes I work out, do my nails, blog, check my digital social life etc. Squeeze a shower in there somewhere, watch a few shows and go to bed. Woof.

2) What is your greatest ambition in life?

To be happy, enjoy life, have my own family, help others & have fun!

3) What do you really want right at this moment and why?

Two nail polish racks and two pairs of TOMs Wedges!

4) What is your favorite song right now?

Ummm, probably still "Thrift Shop". Can't get enough of it. "And The Lion, The Beast, The Beat" by Grace Potter & The Nocturnals.

5) What would you say your best personality trait is?

Buh, I dunno.

6) Who is your main fashion inspiration and why?

Um, no one specific. I'm inspired by any sort of fashion.

7) What do you do for fun?

Hang out with friends/boyfriend, do my nails, go out, go on adventures, shop, dance, draw, craft...

8) Where is your favorite place to shop?

I love H&M, Express...

9) What is your favorite ever memory?

Ever? I don't think it's possible to come up with one!

10) What is your dream place to ever visit?

Hawaii, London, Paris, Australia, California, any tropical island...

11) What made you start blogging?

Other nail bloggers! I discovered them all on Pinterest and was stalking them anyways, so I decided to make my own and actually follow them!

A Series of Nudes

Honestly, I just wanted to do this mani so I could title this post "A Series of Nudes" because I'm a dork and think I'm hilarious...basically I did kind of a nude ombre mani and then added some nude/neutral colored stripes to it later. Don't particularly love the way it came out, but I don't hate it. My 7 year old cousin saw it and goes "well thats, pretty...." in a totally sarcastic tone. Hahahaha, so funny, but I mean to her if it doesn't have any bright colors then whats the point?

I used:
  • OPI: Suzi Loves Cowboys
  • Essie: Don't Sweater It
  • Essie: Sand Tropez
  • OPI: Don't Pretzel My Buttons
  • OPI: My Vampire Is Buff
