RED STRIPES

I have some bright red nails today! Same bright red I used in my last gradient post. I love it and had to use it on it's own. I decided to do a red & white striped accent nail. Could be cool for the Fourth of July this year! I thought they looked kind of nautical, someone else said candy canes...womp womp. Hahaha, not what I was going for. I've also decided I'm going to wear this red to the Taylor Swift concert in July since it's the RED Tour! I'm so clever...

I did a base coat of white on all my nails so it would really pop, then used some tape to make the stripes. Also I got excited and put my top coat on a smidge too early and smudged the accent nail a bit Luckily you can't really tell in the photos.

I used:
  • Zoya: Purity
  • Essie: Hip-Anema
  • Seche Vite: Dry Fast Top Coat

Pastel Color Block Nails

Oh shoot, it's been a week! Sorry guys! Since it's Spring, my part time ice cream stand job opened up so I have a little less time for my nails...plus I've been trying to get on the treadmill every day.

Well I was feeling like Spring for this mani. I wanted to do pastels, so I did a simple striping tape mani. After I did them, I kind of wished I didn't do a glitter accent nail, but I think it looks nice in the photos. It was just a little dark in real life and didn't match as well as I thought it would. I really do love that glitter though!

I used:
  • OPI: My Vampire Is Buff
  • OPI: The Living Daylights
  • China Glaze: For Audrey
  • Essie: Haute As Hello
  • Essie: Bond With Whomever
  • Seche Vite: Dry Fast Top Coat

Red & Blue Gradient Nails!

I loveeee this mani guys! I've never been a huge red fan, but I picked up Essie's "Hip-Anema" because it looked like a super bright fun red, and it totally is! I love it! And I love red with bright fun blue. So I decided on a gradient with those two colors. Mixed into a funky purple in the middle. They really pop and make me want summmmmmer! I also cut my nails down for these. They were starting to peel at the tips...wah wah.

So I just did this with a makeup sponge and I did it over white. The red looks much more neon in person, my camera just didn't understand. Hahaha, check them out. Do you love this red??

Floral-ish Mani

Hi guys! I'm back with some new nails! I really like this mani. I'm calling it "floral-ish" because I based it off a floral looking cardigan I own. It's definitely floral, but in an abstract kind of way. I have a photo of it so you can see what I mean. Actually, I was wearing it in my last post about my glasses, hahaha. It's from Express and I wear it a lot and have been wanting to do a mani of it for a while. It was pretty simple, just used a few dotting tools and layered colors. Used a whole lot of glitter for the accent nail.

Firmoo Glasses Review!

Hi there! Not a nail related post today, but it's a review of Firmoo glasses! They contacted me about reviewing their glasses and I needed some new glasses, so of course I said yes! I'm pretty excited about it because I love them. I haven't had a pair of glasses with the correct prescription in like, four years or so. To pay for contacts AND glasses at the eye doctor is stupidly expensive. Ugh.

Firmoo is an online glasses store for Men & Women's prescription glasses as well as sunglasses. They have tons of options and the prices are great! You can even upload a photo of yourself and virtually try the glasses on. They also have a first pair free program which is awesome! Who wouldn't want that??

I picked out this pair. I love them, the prescription is perfect, they fit great, they don't slide off my face or anything and the ordering process was simple as long as you know your prescription!

Hands Off My Kielbasa!

Hey guys, I have another Euro Centrale shade to show you, though I layered it with some gold, so it's definitely not a true swatch. "Hands Off My Kielbasa!" Is such a pretty color! It's almost a nude when my hands are looking a little red, hahaha. Not too much to say about this mani, I layered Essie: "As Gold As It Gets" on top and did a "Goldeneye" glitter gradient as an accent with a matte top coat. Simple and pretty!

I used:
  •  OPI: Hands Off My Kielbasa!
  • OPI: Goldeneye
  • Essie: As Gold As It Gets
  • Sephora by OPI: Matte Top Coat
