Red Nails for Taylor Swift!

Hey there!

This past Friday I went to the Taylor Swift concert! It was such an awesome show and Ed Sheeran was one of the openers and it was just all around awesome. Well her latest album is titled "Red" so this was the "Red Tour" and I obviously had to do some red nails! Nothing really T-Swift related, just a red skittlette.

I did really like these, except the part when I was completely done, and totally proud of how awesome my pinky nail came out, then proceeded to bump it with a toothpick and screw it all up! Whhhhyyyyyy?!?!? I ended up leaving it because I really didn't feel like starting over, and my boyfriend was impatiently waiting for me to finish...hahaha.

In other news, I've reached over 1,000 followers on my Tumblr. WHAT?! HOW?! THANK YOU GUYS!

Rainbow Gradient Nails!

Hi everyone! I have some fun summer nails today!

I've been dying to do rainbow gradient nails for a while. They're so simple but they really pop and look so fun. I'm absolutely obsessed with them. I've seen them a lot, so they're not at all original, but I love them. Just did them with a make up sponge and did two colors per finger over a white base.

Blue Skittlette & Born Pretty Store Review!

Hey guys! I have my first ever Born Pretty Store review! I've bought a few things from them before and they're really great. Good quality nail art products, good prices and free shipping!

I decided to review these circle "glequins." They came in a set of 12 pots, I chose the gold for this mani. I used them in a skittlette mani as a glitter gradient. They were super easy to work with, I licked the end of a toothpick and used that to pick them up and place them. In the end they looked great and layed flat on my nail. I love the way this look turned out!

If you want to grab anything from the Born Pretty Store you can use my coupon code: XCL91 for 10% OFF! My coupon is also in my side bar!

I used:

Bright Summer Florals!

Hey Guys!

Sorry I've been a bad blogger! I've been super tired lately, my boyfriend had shoulder surgery, and I've been super down about Cory Monteith...sounds dumb, but I've been more upset than I'd like to admit.

Anyways, I have a floral mani to show you! I just free handed some brightly colored flowers which came out ok I think. I definitely need some more floral practice, but it's bright and fun!

I used: Way too many colors. Leave a comment if your curious about one!

4th of July Nails!!!

Hey guys! I have my July 4th mani ready!! I must say I love the way it came out! I was worried that my plan was so pre-prepared but simple that I would ruin the whole thing. A few little bumps and air bubbles but overall I'm in love...haha

So what I did was paint the red and silver glitter nail polish onto some wax paper. Did a few coats and let it dry overnight. Then I cut the red into stripes and used a fancy star hole punch for the stars. Again, this is sort of cheating, but I really wanted this mani to be as clean as possible and I think it worked!

 I used:
  • Zoya: Purity
  • OPI: OPI...Eurso Euro
  • Essie: Hip-Anema
  • Essie: Beyond Cozy
  • Milani: Silver

P.S. I'm posting this now because I'll be in Maine for the 4th! What are your plans??
