Snowflake Nails & Brush Review!

Hey guys! I have the perfect mani for today, it's snowing like crazy out right took me an hour to get home from work! Only a half hour longer than usual so I can't really complain, but still. It's pretty fitting that I have a snowflake mani to share with you guys. It's still not close enough to Christmas for me to feel comfortable wearing Christmas nails, so I went with wintery nails. Maybe next post will be Christmas...we'll see.

This is also a review for the set of KKCenterHk brushes I received! I used a medium length thin brush to make my snowflakes and it worked perfectly. I did an ombre blue base across all my nails, added glitter polish as well as glitter flakes I had that reminded me of snow. Unfortunately they stuck up quite a bit and aggravated me pretty quickly, but I liked the look of it. This was actually my first time making snowflakes on my nails!

I used:
  • OPI: Fly
  • Essie: Where's My Chauffeur?
  • Essie: Mint Candy Apple
  • Essie: In The Cab-Ana
  • Essie: Borrowed & Blue
  • Zoya: Purity
  • China Glaze: Fairy Dust
  • Martha Stewart: Mica Flake Glitter
  • Seche Vite: Dry Fast Top Coat
  • KKCenterHk brushes

Glitter Accent Nail!

Baah, I apologize for waiting a week again! I was in New York City last weekend, and I've been busy since. Plus I do my nails in my basement and it's freeeeeezing! Hard to get motivated to go down there. Anyways, like I said in my glitter stripe post, I planned on using that color combination again. So this is it, I'm obsessed with it!

I used:
  • Essie: Lady Like
  • OPI: My Favorite Ornament
  • Born Pretty Store: Circle Glequins
  • Seche Vite: Dry Fast Top Coat

Glitter Gradient Tutorial!

Hey guys! I finally got around to making a tutorial for my Glitter Gradient Nails as Trying2bbeautiful requested! Hope it's helpful!

You will need:
Base Coat • Nail Polish Color • Chunky Glitter Polish • Top Coat

I used:
Essie: Go Overboard
OPI: The Living Daylights

You can use any colors you wish, but just to make the directions easier I’m going to use these colors by name.

1. Apply basecoat to all of your nails.

2. Paint 2 coats of Essie: Go Overboard on all of your nails.

3. Once your nails are dry, paint a thin coat of OPI: The Living Daylights on your nails. Only go about 3/4 of the way up your nail. You want more glitter at the cuticle and less at the tip, so it fades. If you want you can put a few single pieces of glitter near the tips of your nails.

4. Once that coat dries, add another coat of OPI: The Living Daylights to the bottom half of your nail, adding the most glitter closest to the bottom.

5. Once that coat seems dry enough, add some top coat, and you’re done!

Glitter Matte Stripe Nails!

Heeyyyy! Did everyone have a good Thanksgiving? Mine was yummyyyy.

So I recently bought Essie "Lady Like" and OPI "My Favorite Ornament" and they are my new favorite combo. I'll apologize in advance for my next post being the same colors! I also bought the OPI Matte top coat which is WAY better than the Sephora OPI Matte top coat that I have for some reason.

For this mani I did sparkly stripes over "Lady Like" and used the matte top coat. These are actually the nails I wore on Thanksgiving.

I used:
  • Essie: Lady Like
  • OPI: My Favorite Ornament
  • OPI: Matte Top Coat
